Songwall announces the “Songs in the Sky” winner!
An amazing selection of artists took part in our “Songs in the Sky” competition, each eager to take their music to new heights by winning the chance to perform in a Staying Cool at the Rotunda penthouse apartment!
Sleuth, Prisms and Sean Snook emerged victorious from the public vote as our three worthy finalists and the decision then fell on our guest judge to select an overall winner.
Our judge for this competition was the one and only Dan Kert; Singer/Guitarist from former “Songs in the Sky” champions Plastic Barricades.
Dan told us:
“It was a tough choice, congrats to the winner and the runner ups! Keep up the good work and let that creativity flow free!”
After careful consideration from Dan, we are delighted to announce that our “Songs in the Sky” winner is:
Dan explained his choice:
“From the first chords of “Worth it” it was clear – this song will cheer you up and put a smile upon your face. I was very impressed with the confidence and simplicity of the vocals, balanced and stylish production, timeless songwriting and wise lyrical message. Sean Snook needs to tour with Kodaline and Mumford and Sons, that would be one awesome gig!”
Commiserations to Prisms and Sleuth who we hope to see much more of in the future.
Congratulations Sean, we can’t wait to welcome you to Birmingham ready for an amazing evening of original music on Thursday 3rd November!
